Who we are
Editions Farel is a small independent publisher based in France, east of Paris, in the area of Marne-la-Vallée. Our company has been producing books in French since 1978 and presently has a catalogue of over 200 active titles. We publish around 20 new titles each year.

What we do
Editions Farel was started with a desire to publish books on spirituality for French protestant and evangelical readers. Over the years our readership has widened and our topics have broadened. Yet our spiritual roots remain strongly present through the Christian world view which underlies all of the material in our books. Our passion is to communicate in new and original ways the wealth and resources Christianity has to offer to all of modern society and man.

Our authors
As you browse our web site, you might notice that many of our authors are well known in the U. S. For many years our work was primarily that of translating the best English titles we could find to meet our readers' needs.

Currently, our new releases show a majority of titles originally written in French. This reflects our present commitment to bridge the gap between French churches and the society in which they operate. These two cultures have been drifting apart in recent years. We seek authors who can communicate in the most culturally relevant manner to French readers of all backgrounds.
